We offer a very traditional Hand Fast wedding ceremony which is a Celtic wedding ritual. It involves the tying of hands together to
symbolize the coming together and remaining tied together for eternity. It was originally used at the engagement of a couple so that
the community would know they were betrothed. Yes the couple wore the rope for one year!!! Not very practical now but the
symbolism is very relevant in todays culture. Then at the wedding ceremony, the ropes were removed by the best man and woman
and the cord was kept near the couple. Todays ceremony is a little different and verbiage is very specific but it can be altered to fit
your lifestyle. Ask your Minister or Officiant to go over all your options.
Once you book with us, your Minister or Officiant will sit down with you and go over all your options from welcome to your first
walk as husband and wife.
